From “I Do” to “Happily Ever After”
Katie and Ray grew up to towns apart from each other. Little did they know until much later on that they had multiple connections through friends and even coworkers. However, fate didn’t bring them together until they were both in their 30s, which eventually led to a magical proposal at Disney World in front of Cinderella’s Castle.
The couple recalls how drastically they’ve changed over the years – even since day one they discussed being convinced that they were not the marrying type of people. But now they acknowledge that their views have changed as they saw how easy and amazing a meaningful relationship can be when you’ve finally found the right person.
As time passed, the couple began devoting more time to one another and slowly, but surely, kept falling more and more in love. Currently, they live in Lyndhurst, New Jersey but they felt an immense connection to Manchester, Vermont for a destination wedding as Katie had gone to high school and college in the state and was absolutely in love with the idea of a rustic Vermont wedding.
For Katie and Ray (and all their guests), their overall experience at Kimpton Taconic Hotel was an unforgettable one that was simply described as “incredible.” Wedding guests and the loving couple recalled being “treated like gold” no matter who they encountered at the Vermont getaway. It was clear to them that the entire team was personable and caring which was more than evident through the accommodations and common areas with beautiful designs and an exemplary level of quality and comfort. The attention to detail absolutely did not go unnoticed.
The wedding ceremony was a stunning one with an amazing outdoor cocktail hour which was a total highlight for guests and the couple alike. After all was said and done, Katie and Ray could only describe their experience as a wedding dream come true, exceeding their expectations.
