Hildene's Rich History + Heritage
The Lincolns built Hildene in Manchester, Vermont as a summer home in the early 1900’s. This 412 acre estate has 14 historic buildings including the home, formal garden, observatory, welcome center, museum store and Hildene Farm. New exhibits are created at the estate to feature the Lincoln family history as well as readings and member walks. Family activities are also available including wagon rides, camps for children and holiday activations for the whole family.
